Backcountry ski Algonquin

Family Day Weekend at the Algonquin Outpost

This past Family Day Weekend was amazing for skating at Algonquin's north west corner. The thaw of last Thursday/ Friday was followed by a deep freeze creating a perfect layer of ice for skating! You could skate through the islands from one end of the lake to the other. Ben loves to make rinks and he created a nice figure 8 track just outside the Algonquin Cottage Outpost which you can watch a short video of him skating around.
