Algonquin Sunrise Canoe with Moose

For many Canadians and international travelers, Algonquin Park is the first place many people have seen Moose. June and early July is a fantastic time to see wildlife at Algonquin Park’s northwest corner. The Moose love to stand in marshes and munch on water lilies whose roots are rich in sodium. A canoe trip at sunrise is the ideal way to see Moose in these marshes. Enjoy these shots taken on an early morning canoe trip on one of our Algonquin Log Cabin trips last week. Aren’t we lucky to have these guys as neighbors?
